Recycling
The important part of waste management is identifying which waste can be recycled and how to recycle it. Recycling is important to keep our planet more sustainable. It is also a good way of job creation for the sorting of different commodities.
We offer a site setup for recycling & a trained waste sorter on site.
The most common recycling commodities is
- Recyclable plastic
- Cardboard
- Paper
- Steel
- Glass
- Organic and food material sorted can be used for soil enrichments at registered composting plants.
- E-waste – Many electronic items, such as computer monitors, contain valuable materials such as gold, platinum and indium, but also hazardous materials such as mercury, cadmium and lead. Recycling involves the complete destruction of electronic devices to reduce the need to mine for these valuable finite metals.
- Fluorescent lamp Recycling – Did you know that a single fluorescent tube contains enough mercury to contaminate 30 000 liters of water? All fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) and light emitting diodes (LEDs). Recycled fractions of lamps and tubes includes glass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, mercury and phosphor powder which can all be recovered and used in suitable end processes and products.
